Slime time 1

This was super last minute, and I am so happy I got to play this event

I was out with my family when this popped up on my twitter, so I signed up figuring it was a last minute online tourney so if I was still out I could just message on the Disc. and DQ myself, but I got back in plenty of time and actually played some games with a friend beforehand

So my first game was against the tourney winner, Zimberfizz. Absolutely cracked Samus player and a combination of being outclassed and now really knowing the matchup I got walled out by projectiles and that was that. onto losers

Next I went up against bush cheney 04,who played a sheik game and a dr mario game. This player was pretty obviously new. This is probably where I would have been had I not played a lot in the past. I managed to take this 2-0 in a fashion that was not particularly inspiring to me. No hate whatsoever and GG's, but this was a new player and my time here did not really gain me any new knowledge. I am sure you have been in a similar situation somewhere along the line.

Now after talking my smack (not really) I get eliminated by.... a kirby. Kingpoyo was surprisingly good. He was seemingly a random main using samus sheik and kirby throughout the tourney. This person was really good. They really effectively gimped me and it gave me more good exposure to people whooping me in neutral, which is probably my biggest issue right now. So that was that and we go back to the lab, until tomorrow because there's a monthly tomorrow.
